Parent Resources

Partnerships
Cooper Elementary partners with several organizations to offer more support and opportunities to our students. Below is a list of these partnerships.

The Pando Initiative
The Pando Initiative is a program that connects with students to help them engage and thrive in education and their future. The program helps provide basic need items such as school supplies and weekend food bags. The Pando Initiative also tries to connect as many students as possible to mentoring, lunch groups and clubs. Another goal of the program is to assist with special events in the building such as breakfast club and family nights. Please contact Stacy Betzen if you think your child would benefit from this program.

Family Resource Room
The Family Engagement Room is available to all Cooper families who may be in need of assistance. Educational materials are available for checkout and help may be provided in either English or Spanish. As with all Cooper services, we will make an attempt to provide any other needed languages upon request.

Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
PTO is the parent/teacher group at Cooper. The purpose of PTO is to enrich the quality of education our children are receiving by funding assembly programs, providing additional materials in the classroom, library, and computer lab. PTO is an opportunity for parents to be involved with the planning and helping with various activities for the students.

SITE Council
Site council is made up of school staff and community members. They discuss ways for the school to meet goals and objectives. They address communication between the school and community, safety concerns, and other important items.
