Derby Schools has partnered with KnowBe4 to implement a new email threat response and education system. Our goal is to build provide training and resources to empower all of us to protect ourselves and our district from online fraud, often started in phishing emails that arrive in our Derby USD260 inbox.

The newest tool, the Phish Alert Button (PAB) is being rolled out now. The PAB shows up in your email inbox as an orange fish hook:

The PAB will appear in the toolbar of your email when you select an email in your inbox. This really is kind of cool because you can simply click the orange fish hook, and choose 'Report' and the email will be immediately processed to check for threats.

When you come across an email that you are unsure about, just click the fish hook while in the email. You will get a pop-up that prompts you, "Are you sure...?" If you are sure click 'Report', and just like, that the email has been taken from your email and sent in for processing.

You can go on with your day like a REAL SUPERHERO!!!

You will get a notification from PhishER once the email has been received. Once the email is cleaned, you will be emailed to inform you of what type of email was found.
