Derby Public Schools is home to one of the first elementary schools in the nation to offer a Project Lead The Way learning curriculum that exposes students to science, engineering and mathematics like no other program. How to Enroll
To find out the attendance center your child is assigned to, please utilize our Address Locator tool. Enter your address, including city, state and zip code, to show which school you are assigned to. Once you know your home attendance center your assigned to, please contact your school to establish an enrollment time for your student. A list of all of our schools can be found HERE. Tours of each school can also be arranged by contacting the building.
It is essential you bring the following items with you to enrollment:
• A certified copy of the birth certificate for each child enrolling.
• Kansas Certificate of Immunization
• A health assessment (physical) for each child starting school in Kansas if he/she is under nine years old.
• Proof of residency requires a current copy of a water/gas/electrical bill, house contract, or renter’s agreement. Families that do not have one of these items must have approval from the building’s principal.
